Kershaw made the Turbulence to stay securely in your hand and do just about any cutting task you ask it to.
Until you actually get your hands on the Turbulence, you might not fully appreciate the knife’s shape and grip. When the knife is open, the handle curves off the knife’s spine, then takes a slight downturn. That turn nestles into your hand just about perfectly. But that’s just the first part of the great Turbulence grip. Next, there’s the index-finger contour and the slight slimming of the handle toward the butt, making it incredibly easy to hold onto. And finally, we add textured G-10 scales for good purchase on the knife in all kinds of conditions.
The blade has a very slight curve along the spine and a sharp drop at the point, giving the Turbulence a modified tactical look. The blade has plenty of belly for excellent slicing and general-purpose utility capabilities. The blade steel is high-performance 14C28N and has an easy-care stonewashed finish so scratches don’t show. The Turbulence opens quickly, easily, and one-handed thanks to SpeedSafe assisted opening and the built-in flipper. It locks into place and secures with the locking liner. Includes Kershaw's Tri-Carry clip options.
